Greek Yogurt Dessert (Tasty and Healthy Way)

Been dieting the last month, which makes it kinda awkward to make recipes (ironic isn’t it?). At least this one is hella simple to whoever stumbles across this ☻

Ingredients (Healthy Version):

  • 2 cups greek yogurt (plain nonfat sugar free)
  • 4 tsp stevia
  • 2 Tbps cocoa powder
  • a pinch of salt (optional)
  • 2 Tbps PB2 (optional)

Yeah, if you make it this way you’ll have a 250 calorie snack that’ll fill you up and is high in protein. I don’t lie to myself and say this is better than ice cream, but damn it does the job whenever I have that itch for chocolate and don’t wanna grab a candy bar. I won’t lie I just eyeball this shit and add a bit more stevia since I want that shit sweet. If you want to step it up (with more calories and flavor) here’s how:

Ingredients (Tasty Version):

  • 2 gups greek yogurt (plain/vanilla)
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 Tbsp chocolate chips
  • 3 Tbsp granola
  • a pinch of salt

Yeah this version is actually good. Too bad it kinda defeats the purpose of eating healthy, but it tastes good ☻. Just don’t lie to yourself and think this is healthier than ice cream. Unless you NEED the protein and are hella deficient I would just eat some ice cream. Same fat and sugar as the ice cream (depending what you use). Now could you do a healthy balance between the two? Yep. Do I strive to do that? NOPE LOL. Chocolate chips would probably sweeten up the healthy version enough without sacrificing much tbh, but I know my fatass would shove the chocolate chips down my throat before adding it onto my yogurt.
